Strong academic year for business education at Sewanee

2013 Business Minors: A Large and Diverse Group

Thirty-eight of Sewanee’s 331-strong Class of 2013 graduated with business minors, according to final figures compiled by the Registrar’s Office. Since 2009, when the first business minors graduated, 103 students have earned business minors. 06.14.13

Vicky Gregg, the just-retired CEO of Tennessee's biggest health insurer, will discuss the impact of federal healthcare reform legislation on April 18 at 4:30 p.m. Gregg is the Babson Center's Spring 2013 Bryan Viewpoints Series speaker. 04.07.13

Economics lectures focus on conservation, women who opt out of careers

Michael Price of Georgia State University will lecture March 26 on how the insights of behavioral economics can be used to motivate conservation and investment in "green" technologies. On April 4, Joni Hersch, Professor of Law and Economics at Vanderbilt University will speak on "Opting Out Among Women with Elite Education." 03.26.13
