David Beecken, C’68, is the managing director of Beecken Petty O’Keefe & Co., Chicago investment firm. Generous support by Mr. Beecken and his wife, Kitty, funds the Beecken Bridge Scholarships for Sewanee students and new graduates to attend intensive summer programs that provide introduction to business principles and procedures for liberal arts students at major graduate schools of business programs.
